Rambles+Updates+Uploading Schedule🩷

Abide in me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches.”

John 15:4-5

Hello peepos! You might be thinking "Why are you posting this even though it's not a saturday?" Well that's what I'm about to tell you.

So, I've decided to add a Wednesday post as well as Saturday, because, blogging is fun, ya know? I wanna kinda do that often. So yaa we're'a add a wednesday post—For now— and see how it goes and if it doesn't work I'll leave it to just Saturday posts. Ok?

Also, now just a what counts for the posting schedule and what doesn't. What does count:

Regular posts

Shoutouts (Which I will post at the beginning or end of that day's post)

What doesn't count:

Announcements

Answering readers' questions, if submitted in comments, unless it's for a scheduled q&A in which case my scheduled post will be answering all your questions together

(Maybe) the occasional bonus post

So, today I'm just kinda gonna ramble, give you some life updates, and stuff, because some cool stuff has been going on right now, also my eye hurts and I don't know why so that's fun (not).

I've been playing recently with some settings on the blog, and hopefully soon it'll have a different layout that doesn't look really basic. Because right now it looks like a Blogspot blog (Because that's exactly what it is!) That is one of the things I like about Blogspot is it's simple, but well, I don't want it looking too basic. For now I 'm sticking to this one for now because I can't figure out how to get the widgets, or gadgets or whatever they're called, to move (Or open for that matter).

I'm also trying to figure out how to add different backgrounds to different sections of the Blog, because I want to showcase different themes that I like. Still don't know how to do that, so for now the background is just gonna be this nice, chill aqua-blue that I picked out at the beginning.

I recently tried my two Cadbury bars: the five-star bar and the lunch bar, and I'm pretty sure the lunch bar is better, it left kinda a bad aftertaste but it was good, because it was decadent. I'm pretty sure it had rice krispies in it and it was puffier, with lots of little bits of chocolate dotting the outside. The five-star bar was a little less rich, I think, but it was still really good. Oh and also the lunch bar smelled like one of those protein bars that claim to be chocolate to be inviting but actually taste really bad, but it it didn't taste like that, thankfully.

Aal, I broke my blinds, so that's fun. It was actually pretty funny though. I was opening them and and I pulled too hard and then they broke and started to unravel, so that was sad. Dad managed to open them but it took him a while. We need to get new blinds, just in general, one of the ones in my brother's room is broken and has been for a while now.

I recently found some confusing trick questions, I don't know what these are called, just like trick questions? Here are some of my favorites:

If you drop a bar of soap on the floor, is the floor clean or the soap dirty?

I think it means the soap is dirty, because a) the soap probably isn't meant to clean floors and b) the soap was most likely dirty in the first place, because after it gets used often it becomes a breeding ground for all the bacteria that gets rubbed off onto it.

If anything is possible, is it possible for something to be impossible?

Ooh, ya, that's a really good one. I do not know. I think, yes and no. I mean it probbly is because there are certainly things in this  world that are impossible. But no because impossible means not possible and if there are things that are not possible (Which there are) then not everything is possible.

Is water wet?

No, it is not. Water is not wet, water makes things wet. Here are two reasons why:

If you mix water with more water it doesn't make the water more wet

Also, for something to be wet it has to have another substance that makes it wet, and water does not have that, therefore it is not wet.

Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?

Ummm....I don't know???? Because it...sounds right???? That's actually a really good one.

Why do noses run but feet smell?

Ah, a classic! I don't know that either. Probably because they're just terms, like your feet aren't actually smelling things, it's just a term for that they...well...smell like something. They should probably change the word smell to something that makes more sense, like stink (Because that's usually what people mean LOL).

Moving on, something I've realized is that when people say "Never say never" they're actually contradicting themselves because they are saying never to tell someone not to say it. Shouldn't they just say "Don't say never"? except that doesn't sound as good, it's not as catchy, ya know?

Also, yesterday I had a dentist appointment to get a sealant replaced. So, I wasn't the most excited for that, but it wasn't that bad, not as bad as a filling (Which I've gotten 5 of), that's for sure.

I wrote a persuasive essay to my principal on why we shouldn't have to do summer reading. My reasoning in a nutshell is that it's summer vacation and supposed to be a break from school (And a well-deserved one, at that) and our specific project is something most (If not all) of us haven't done before, and it stops reading (A sometimes quite enjoyable hobby) from being fun.

I haven't gotten a response yet, but either way, I'm not gonna do it, because I don't feel like it, and schools shouldn't have the right to force students to do work over break. I'm rebeling.

So yah, I think that'll be it for today, but of course, I'm gonna share a shoutout and some questions before I sign off!

Shoutout goes to Bruni Vogel for being the first person to ever comment on my blog!

Questions:

What do you think of my trick questions? Have you had to have any dental fillings, and if so, how many? Do you agree with my notion to abolish summer reading? Have fun!

Hi Hannah!!!

I loved your trick questions! They made me laugh and they also make you think very hard.

I love the verse you put at the beginning of your blog... I have actually been memorizing that verse.

I also think that it's cool that you got to try the lunch bar and 5 star bar... although I think I prefer a 5 star bar (lol)
