My weekend in the Cape (Feat. Books, blissful hot tub relaxing, and lots of pastries!)

Hey people! So as you may know I went on a trip to the cape this weekend. I'm here to summarize it for y'all (And me!)

Friday:

My dad came to pick me up at 3:00. I was slightly unprepared for this, because I usually get picked up at 3:30 mom had texted me about it, but, alas, this was during school hours and I was not recieving texts.

It took us like a long time to get there. We got to the little Airbnb we had rented, and I explored a bit and then we went to a pub to have dinner. I had a giant cheeseburger, with fries, an onion ring my dad gave me (yay!) and orange juice in this weird styrofoam cup. It was all really yummy!!!

After dinner we settled in more back at the house and we went out side because there was a jacuzzi and there was a lot of gravel stones on the way and they were kinda sharp. And the jacuzzi was wonderful! I forgot to tie back my hair (Idon't think I even brought hairties, for that matter!) so my hair got a little wet. After that, we went inside and I chilled until bedtime, when I, well, went to bed.

Saturday:

My mom had her half marathon in the morning, and we got Dunkin' for breakfast, I got a bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was delicious!

Then we took a walk on the beach and there was an uphill and then a downhillin the sand and that was fun. Also we found some crab skeletons and some pincers. Then we went to a nearby bakery and had some pastries: a cinnamon roll twist-type thing, and like a flaky croissant-y-ish thing with some nutella in it????? I don't know!!!! Then we went home and my dad went to pick up Mom from her race. Then we had hotdogs for lunch. They were yummy! Then I had two jam slices and they were also yummy. I finished Maizy Chen's Last Chance by Lisa Yee (Which I'd started before the trip) which I loved, and started (And finished) What Happened To Rachel Riley by Clara Swinarski, which was pretty good! I fail to remember what I had for dinner, oh, yes we had pizza! Classic! There was a margherita pizza and a ham and mushroom one, andI loved both of them. Yes that was all interesting things that happened that day, then I just kept on listening to my books: I reread / listened to Warp Speed by Lisa Yee which is awesome!

Sunday:

We had to go. We had Dunkin' for breakfast, and I had a bacon egg and cheese croissant again, then I found out that there were ice cream sandwiches in the fridge which we couldn't have because they were someone else's :( then we went in the hot tub again, for a while and it was awesome! It was chilly too, and so it was extra cold when we got out. Then we did somefinal packing and went home. I finished Warp Speed on the way home.

That's what you gotta know about my trip! Hope you enjoyed! And until next time, this is Miss Gevious, signing off!
