Chocolate chip cookies
are magical
They fill the world with light
They are beautiful bulbs to glow in the darkest spaces
Chocolate chip cookies
they are so sweet
when life is rough, when your day’s been tough
A cookie will turn it right around
A cookie is a fantasy
filling the world with endless dreams
chocolate chip cookies bring people together
they create bonds that last forever
And chocolate chip cookies,
Who knew they could do so much
All it takes
is one crisp
fat
chewy
golden-brown
warm
sweet delight
that can change lives
Chocolate chip cookies are just that.
