Some summer goals ideas
Hey friends! Hannah here and welcome to Hannah's Happy Thoughts! Spring is here, and I have a lot planned for Spring + Summer, so I'm going to put down some ideas of goals I have for this summer!
Post at least once a week:
Okay, I haven't posted here in nearly 2 months, so there's no question of what my first goal should be. GET BACK ON A REGULAR POSTING SCHEDULE! Because blogging is fun...when I have the motivation or the ideas to do it.
Learn some new bird songs:
I feel like it might be fun to be able to identify all the birds that make their homes in my yard. I only know the chickadee at the moment, and every time I hear one I point it out, and that's very satisfying. Try a new pair of earrings:
So if y'all know me you know I used to get a lot of ear infections because I can only wear gold earrings. My starter earrings were infected, and then I put a pair of beautiful silver stars that were well... silver... and my body was like "No way, José, I'm not havin' this." and what followed was a loooong process involving putting my gold earrings back in, disinfecting my infected ear every day with apple cider vinegar (I'm lucky it wasn't both ears- or maybe it was) pus control, and a lot of crying. This was when I was 8, and I'm 13 now, not having changed my earrings since. I want to get over my fear and maybe find some cute earrings at Claire's with the gold that I can wear.
Go shopping for a nice graduation outfit:
I'm graduating from 8th grade this year, and I want to celebrate by getting a nice outfit. I'm not a very big shopping person so this'll take a lot of planning and reminders so my parents don't accidentally forget or i don't accidentally-on-purpose forget.
Review 3 new books on the blog:
I love reading, and usually have a lot of thoughts on what i've read, but never really write it down, which is something I want to do.
Help my brother get first in the Braille Challenge:
Remember I told you about the Braille Challenge? Well, my brother made it to the finals!!!!!! I won't be competing this year, but all of us want him to get first, especially now because my brother's Braille display doesn't work very well (It's a hand-me-down from me and it's like 6 years old so I guess that can be expected), and if you win you can get a fancy new display as a prize so yeah. I have a bunch of practice materials and want to use them and help my brother come in first :)
These aren't final, these are just some ideas, but I'll get back to you when I've decided on final ones! So until then, this is Miss Gevious, signing off!
