The Holiday 20 questions tag 2024!

Hi guys! So I was thinking for a while now about doing a holiday blog tag, as in, I put some questions in and tag people to answer them on their blogs, then they tag more people, and so on and so forth. I only know one other blogger who consistently reads my blog, and I want to see how far it goes, as well as find more active bloggers and maybe lead other people to me though that's not a huge priority (I'm perfectly fine being small and not very well-known LOL)

The questions! (with my answers in parentheses) 

  1. When do you consider the holiday season officially started? (I consider Thanksgiving to be a winter holiday, but for me Christmas season starts the day after it) 
  2. What's your favorite thing about winter? (Hot chocolate and Christmas!) 
  3. What's your least favorite thing about winter? (The cold for sure!)
  4. What do you like to do in the snow? (Nothing really LOL)
  5. What's your favorite holiday tradition? (Making gingerbread men and also decorating a Christmas tree with my younger brother)
  6. How do you usually celebrate Thanksgiving? (Go to a Thanksgiving lunch with friends, and ofc eat a lot)
  7. How do you usually celebrate Christmas? (Christmas Eve party and Christmas day party, where we go and play games and sing worship songs and even have a concert on Christmas eve where I usually play the piano, then me and my fam open presents together on Christmas morning)
  8. What's your favorite type of pie? (There are so many, it's hard to pick one, but maybe key lime?) 
  9. What's your fave winter / Christmas themed emoji? (The snowflake ❄️) 
  10. What's your favorite Christmas song? (I don't really have a favorite, but I like the whole Pentatonics Christmas album) 
  11. Do you have a Christmas tree? If so how do you like to decorate it? (I have a fake one but might get a real one this year. On the day after Thanksgiving me and my brother decorate it, me taking one side and him taking the other, with glittery balls and little fuzzy angels and stars and things, it's always great fun!)
  12. What's one gift you would like to receive for Christmas this year? (A good book, I don't know what, just any book)
  13. Would you rather host a holiday party or go to someone else's? (Go to someone else's)
  14. What's your favorite Christmas movie? (I don't watch Christmas movies)
  15. What do you like to do on New Year's Eve? (Chill and watch Toy Story 4) 
  16. Have you ever stayed up til midnight? (No :( unless I'm at a concert or something and don't even have to try the latest I can get is 10:30) (update! This was added in later, but I have gone to bed after midnight before but it wasn't like New Year's Eve, it was because of travel time and I always got some sleep in the car so not sure that counts but yeah.) 
  17. Do you believe in New Year's Resolutions? (Not really…)
  18. As of now, have you kept any of yours from 2024? (recap all my trips on my Blog! I don't remember most of the others though)
  19. How long do you get off of school for winter break? (12 days this year! Usually 1 full week and a few extra days)
  20. Overall, how much do you love the holiday season on a scale of 1-10 (1 being the worst part of the year 10 being absolutely amazing)? (9.5, the only thing I don't like about it is the cold, and even that's not so bad!

My top 3 favorite book series

Hi y'all! Hannah here, today I'm going to be sharing with you my top 3 favorite book series(es?) of all time. Since I suck at intros let's get into it!  #1: Wings Of Fire  Yes, Wings Of Fire is my favorite series ever (At least right now it is). It's in 3 ummm... groups, or like subserieses, I'd say arcs but it's not like the Warriors series in "arcs" more on that later. It's about this world of dragons, it starts out with a prophecy that brings five "Dragonets of destiny" together, to basically save the world. And then books 6-10 it goes on to later, when there's a new prophecy. I've pretty much memorized that one, but none of the others. And then from books 11-15 it focusses on different POVS with a different prophecy to guide them. Yeah.  #2: Warriors  Warriors has a lot of issues (i.e. the characters are kinda boring and at this point it's not very good quality as a whole) but I like it anyways this one's about wildcat...
