What I got for Christmas + some other stuff

Hi all! In this post I'm going to be sharing some of the things I got for Christmas and share a few things about my little mini vacation.

Let's start with the recap of my vacation.

On Thursday, me, my brother, and my dad went to Worcester and we stayed there until today. We had a really early dinner on Thursday at like 4:00pm at a bread place. I had a grilled ham and cheese and some fries, and the fries weren't very good but the sandwich was! After we checked in at our hotel we played Monopoly for about 2 hours, then it was like 7:30 so my brother and I got ready for bed. I went to bed at around 9:30 and my brother went at around 8:30. (he's 3 years younger than me BTW)

On Friday we all went to a nice cafe where I had a BLT with egg on a bagel, it was sooooooooo good! Then we just hung out for a while and listened to the music and talked. Upon getting back to the hotel we all went down to the pool (me and my brother got in and my dad just kind of watched). We didn't really swim we just kind of bounced around and talked then we went to the hot tub. We had the whole pool area to ourselves which was super fun! After we all got back upstairs, I took a shower and played some more Monopoly. We had lunch at Chick-Fil-A and I had chicken strips, fries and a limited edition peppermint chip milkshake, which was the best part but everything was really good.

After lunch we drove around and did some sightseeing and stuff. That night my dad got Mexican food and we pretty much just ate off the floor of the hotel😂

This morning for breakfast we went to a different place, where I had gingerbread pancakes, scrambled eggs and orange juice, it was super great! Then we went in the pool again, packed and went home.

Now for what I got for Christmas!

So first I got $20 from my grandmother. Woop! Then I got a whole thing of Tim Tams just like last year! If you don't know, Tim Tams are these really awesome Australian cookies covered in chocolate, you can get them at Wegmans and they rock! Then I got this 3D portrait thing, it had a unicorn on it, basically like you attach it to a wall and there's like a 3D unicorn on it. I also got 2 new books to read: The Princess Diaries and The Inheritance Games! 

My brother got a Braille Monopoly game which we played on our trip, and we both got a game called Shut The Box, which seems fun.

Lil disclaimer because apparently it's necessary nowadays: this post is not meant to brag. I love all of these gifts and am super grateful for them. I love reading other people's Christmas posts so I thought people would just like to know what I got as well.

My top 3 favorite book series

Hi y'all! Hannah here, today I'm going to be sharing with you my top 3 favorite book series(es?) of all time. Since I suck at intros let's get into it!  #1: Wings Of Fire  Yes, Wings Of Fire is my favorite series ever (At least right now it is). It's in 3 ummm... groups, or like subserieses, I'd say arcs but it's not like the Warriors series in "arcs" more on that later. It's about this world of dragons, it starts out with a prophecy that brings five "Dragonets of destiny" together, to basically save the world. And then books 6-10 it goes on to later, when there's a new prophecy. I've pretty much memorized that one, but none of the others. And then from books 11-15 it focusses on different POVS with a different prophecy to guide them. Yeah.  #2: Warriors  Warriors has a lot of issues (i.e. the characters are kinda boring and at this point it's not very good quality as a whole) but I like it anyways this one's about wildcat...
